My name is Natalie and I am 6"0. I know about feeling too tall, the giant in the group, and very awkward. People ask "do you play basketball" and my eyes would roll in frustration and I would say "no? what gives you that idea?"... then I would laugh at people's reactions. Or my favourite (but I haven't said it in awhile because it's rude) "Your soo lucky to be tall"... and I reply "Why is that? I can't find clothes that fit?!".
It has taken me many years to realise that people's questions and remarks about my height was actually a compliment. A compliment because they have not seen a woman, a tall woman who is beautiful before, and couldn't help but comment. Being tall and confident, and loving your height, is ALL dependent upon HOW and WHAT you percieve being tall is about.
